We love a good list, and we really love when something makes our lives easier! So here are 8 design resources that we use on the reg or just simply love 👉

📝 Lorem Ipsum: We can’t live without our trusty Latin filler text on standby. You just don’t know if that layout will reeaally work until you see it with some body copy filling out its bones.

🎨 Colour Contrast Checker: We love talking accessibility because websites are for everyone! This is a great tool to help you check if the colour contrast of your website text and background meets WCAG standards.

📦 House of Mockups: We love a good mockup when showcasing our branding concepts, and HoM offers a beautiful collection with free options available.

⌨️ Use & Modify: Hello type nerds, this one’s for you! A really 👌 selection of open source typefaces. There are clean ones, fun & funky ones, and whacked out ones!

💃 Blush: A very cool resource for generating customised illustrations from styles designed by their collective of artists. You can mix and match elements of the designs and download to use freely for yourself.

📐 How Big Is My Browser: So simple and so user friendly. For our fellow web design peeps, this is a huge time-saver for when you need to work with browser breakpoints and test pixel-perfect layouts.

🅰 Logobook: A massive archive of logos, marks and symbols categorised for easy browsing. This is a huge inspiration site for us when we are deep in a branding project.

📸 Go Full Page: A Chrome browser extension that takes a screenshot of the entire webpage you’re on. Sounds simple but has come in handy so many times for web project presentations.
