Greetings from Elsewhere! Where you’d rather be daydreaming.

Best buds and absolute legends Alaina, Jono, and Ricardo came to us with an idea for a new cafe that they were keen to open in Shepparton, Victoria. Their brief was very clear – the look and feel for the brand story needed to be happy, inclusive, fun, and seriously cheeky. They settled on the name Elsewhere and we had a blast playing with concepts of abstract messaging and design ideas that were just a bit WEIRD.

We loved playing around with the solid yet bouncy wordmark in various lockup options, and pairing it all with the bold yet pastel colour palette which gives the whole story a sense of lightness, and keeps the brand playful and approachable.

At the heart of the concept is the idea of escapism and daydreaming. The illustrative assets are all a little bit abstract and dreamlike, adding a bit of surprise and humour into thee visitors’ experience. Be transported elsewhere, away from reality and down into a cup of espresso or ascend into your daydreams as you bite into your smashed avo!
